A violent crash, involving multiple vehicles, occurred at around 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 09, 2021, on Northwest 42nd Avenue, where LeJeune and Douglas Road meet, in Opa-Locka in Florida. One died and several injured in the crash.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene, found that six victims were involved in the accident. Two victims were taken to the hospital and three others received medical treatment at the accident scene. Authorities said that one victim was transported as a trauma alert.
The three vehicles, involved in the accident, sustained heavy damage and were found scattered across the road. A red pickup truck was unrecognizable after it hit several trees in the median. A white pickup truck was found with major front-end damage and one front wheel missing. A black car was seen with the airbags deployed and the doors of the driver’s side crushed in.
While the authorities did not release any information on the 6th victim or cause of the crash, witnesses said the driver of the red truck died in the crash. The crash is under investigation.
