Troopers said that the 13-year-old boy was heading north and at the same time an 11-year-old boy from Knoxville, Tennessee was driving westward. They both moved between tracks together, causing the 11-year-old ATV’s front wheel to hit the right side of the teen’s vehicle.
According to the FHP report, the 13-year-old boy thrown from the ATV and fell on top of the 11-year-old boy, and died immediately. The 11-year-old boy was not hurt.
