A two-vehicle crash, involving a Suzuki motorcycle and a Nissan Sentra, occurred early Saturday morning on an entrance ramp along a major interchange in Fort Lauderdale on January 7, 2023. Two people died in the crash.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a red 2017 Suzuki motorcycle, with a rider, a 36-year-old man from Sunrise, and a pillion, a 46-year-old woman from Pembroke Pines, was travelling south in a center lane on the ramp to I-595 from I-95 when it collided with a 2016 Sentra. Due to the severe impact of the crash, both of them fell down from the motorcycle and died at the scene. The crash occurred at around 3:20 a.m.
Two people in Sentra, a 30-year-old driver and a 36-year-old passenger, didn’t receive any injuries. I-95 south and I-595 were shut down for several hours after the crash.
If any nearby person or vehicle were injured/damaged as a result of the driver’s negligence, there would likely be a valid personal injury claim.
