A fatal crash, involving a car and an SUV, occurred Saturday night on September 11, 2021 at Wyndham Lakes, Caneel Bay boulevards in Orange County, Florida. A 32-year-old male driver died in the crash.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers, at the time of the incident, the SUV –driven by a 42-year-old man from Orlando – heading toward the north on Caneel Bay Boulevard, ran the stop sign and crashed into the side of the car, driven by a 32-year old man from Orlando, that was traveling toward the west on Wyndham Lakes Boulevard.
The crash reports revealed that as a result of the collision, the car overturned and then hit a brick wall and tree, which led to the death of the 32-year-old male driver. He was declared dead at the scene. The SUV driver who ran the stop sign sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. The accident is under investigation.
