A two-vehicle crash, involving a car and an SUV, occurred Tuesday morning on October 5, 2021, on 75th Street West, near 34th Avenue West in Bradenton, Florida. Four people, including two toddlers, sustained injuries in the accident.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a 27-year-old woman from Bradenton was driving the car in the north direction on 75th Street in the inside lane along with two kids, a 2-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy as the car passengers. At the same time, just before afternoon, a 66-year-old woman from Bradenton was also driving the SUV in the same direction on 75th Street West in the outside lane.
At the time of the crash, the car entered the lane of the SUV and hit its left side. The car then went into the median and collided with a tree and further re-entered the lanes to hit the SUV again. The car then came to a stop in the northbound inside lane of the street, whereas the SUV came to a controlled stop on the sidewalk.
The 27-year-old driver and her 2-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries, whereas the 1-year-old car passenger and the 66-year-old SUV driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.
