A single-vehicle crash, involving a pickup truck, occurred on Saturday afternoon, Jun 3, 2023 on Burnt Store Road in Charlotte County, Florida. A 45-year-old man from Cape Coral lost his life in the crash.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash occurred around 4:20 p.m. The man was driving south toward Cape Coral when he suddenly veered off the roadway. The vehicle he was traveling in rotated and ran into a light pole before overturning and smashing into a tree.
The unidentified man could not survive the crash and was declared dead at the scene. The crash is being investigated further.
