A three-vehicle crash occurred on Sorrento Rd and Nighthawk Lane at around 1 p.m. on February 07, 2021, in Escambia County, Florida. According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), at the time of the accident, a vehicle, which was traveling westbound on Sorrento Road, crossed the center line and hit head-on with another vehicle. Soon after, a 3rd vehicle crashed into the collided vehicles, leaving its 50-year-old driver critically injured.
FHP said that the 3rd vehicle driver was entrapped in the automobile and he was transported to Baptist hospital via life flight. Roadways and lanes are open now. Charges are pending and the reason behind the crash is under investigation.
