A 47-year-old Sanford man lost his life in a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in Osteen, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident occurred on State Road 415, near Parkinson Boulevard, at 9:30 p.m.
The man was either kneeling or standing in the middle of the grassy median when an unknown vehicle traveling north veered off the road and hit him before fleeing the scene.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that no witnesses to the accident have been identified, and they have no information about the vehicle or the driver. The investigation is ongoing.
If any nearby person or vehicle were injured/damaged as a result of the driver’s negligence, there would likely be a valid personal injury claim.
