A deadly motorcycle crash occurred on Saturday, October 21, 2023, in Brevard County, Florida. A 29-year-old man died while a 27-year-old woman was critically injured in the crash.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash happened at Valkaria Road and Hideaway Lane, just after midnight.

The 29-year-old man from Palm Bay was riding west on Valkaria Road when he lost control of his motorbike as he turned a corner.

The motorcycle thus started to topple over and collided with a nearby concrete culvert, which is a drainage pipe beneath the road.

The man died on the spot. His passenger, a 27-year-old woman, also from Palm Bay, was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

According to the FHP, the woman was wearing a helmet when the accident happened. The driver wasn’t, though.
