A single-vehicle crash occurred at around 5:30 a.m. on May 12, 2021 in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95, Florida. A 47-year-old Port Orange man, who was driving the vehicle died in the accident. A Florida Highway Patrol investigator said that at the time of the accident, the vehicle ran off the road and crashed near the State Road 528 westbound exit ramp.
The deceased man, who was unidentified by troopers, was traveling south on Interstate 95. The driver was thrown out of the car after it rammed into a traffic barrier.
After the car crash, traffic was slow in and around the State Road 528 exit. Motorists were requested to take alternative routes. However, all lanes of the Interstate 95 were open. The exit to State Road 528 remained closed for crash investigation reasons.
If any nearby person or vehicle were injured/damaged as a result of the driver’s negligence, there would likely be a valid personal injury claim.
