A two-vehicle crash, involving a black sedan and a Honda CR-V, happened at around 3:50 a.m. on Wednesday, June 02, 2021, on West Broward Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. According to the Fort Lauderdale police, all four persons involved in the accident were transported to Broward Health Medical Center with injuries. One among the four died later while another person received minor injuries and the remaining two sustained severe injuries.
The Fort Lauderdale police released only some details of the crash and suspected alcohol to be a factor in the accident. However, they did not reveal which driver was investigated for the possibility of driving under the influence (DUI).
The crash resulted in the shutdown of all westbound lanes from the 1100 block to the 1800 block during the early morning rush hour on the day of the crash. The road section was, however, reopened completely at around 10 a.m. once the scene was processed by investigators.
If any nearby person or vehicle were injured/damaged as a result of the driver’s negligence, there would likely be a valid personal injury claim.
