A single-vehicle crash, involving an SUV, occurred Saturday night, September 17, 2022 on Colonial Drive in Bithlo, Florida. A 31-year-old woman from Orlando died in the accident.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers, the woman was moving eastbound when her vehicle, which was earlier east of Cox Drive, went off the road to the right for a reason unknown at around 8:33 p.m.
The crash report revealed that her vehicle then started to overturn on the south shoulder of the road, which caused the woman to get partially ejected from the vehicle. Troopers believed that the woman was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of crash.
The woman was declared dead at the accident scene. The crash was under investigation.
