A fatal crash, involving a car, a semi-truck, and a sedan, occurred on Interstate 4 in Seminole County, Florida at around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022. A 19-year-old woman from Sanford died in the crash.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, just before the crash, the woman was moving eastbound in the inside lane, near mile marker 94 (State Road 434), when she tried to change lanes to the right, which caused her vehicle to hit the left side of a semi-truck, which was moving in the centre lane. The woman’s car then collided with a sedan that was behind the woman’s car.
The woman was transported to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The semi-truck and sedan drivers, a 48-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, respectively – both from Orlando – did not sustain any injuries in the accident. The crash is under investigation.
If any nearby person or vehicle were injured/damaged as a result of the driver’s negligence, there would likely be a valid personal injury claim.
