A deadly single-vehicle crash occurred on the Interstate-95 exit ramp on Monday, October 2, 2023. A 22-year-old man from Jacksonville lost his life in the crash.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the sedan that the man was driving drifted to the left and exited the road as it was approaching the southbound Exit 289 ramp at around 1:09 a.m.
The driver’s side door of the car collided with a tree, and the vehicle came to rest on the roadside shoulder. The man did not survive the crash. There were no other passengers in the car at the time of the accident.
If any nearby person or vehicle were injured/damaged as a result of the driver’s negligence, there would likely be a valid personal injury claim.
