A wild accident occurred in the morning of Oct 21, 2020 on Crandon Boulevard in Key Biscayne, Florida as heavy rainfall turned the road slippery. The accident involved a Ferrari that hydroplaned, flipped in the median, and crashed into the trees at the Calusa Circle.
According to Key Biscayne Police Chief, Charles R. Press, the driver sustained injuries, but were not life threatening. He added that speed and heavy rainfall possibly contributed to the accident and the investigation is still underway.
He further warned South Florida drivers to stay vigilant while driving, no matter how used to they are to driving in the rain, as weather conditions change quickly in the region.
