A double-vehicle crash, involving an SUV and a motorized scooter, occurred at around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2022 near Jacksonville in Duval County, Florida. The man riding the scooter died in the accident.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), both vehicles were heading South on the Buckman Bridge when the SUV driver rammed into the scooter. Due to the impact of the collision, the man riding the scooter was thrown onto the road and killed. The man, who was not wearing a helmet, was from Orange Park.
Soon after, a man driving a semi-truck hit debris from the crash. No injuries were caused to anyone else.
