An accident occurred in the afternoon of October 26, 2020 in Panama City Beach that closed down a portion of Middle Beach Road. According to local authorities, the truck driver with a medical emergency hit the side of a school bus. He was treated at the scene and later taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. All the kids aboard the bus were uninjured and taken home in a new bus. The truck and school bus were driven away from the scene.
