A three-vehicle crash involving a sedan and two SUVs occurred after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at the intersection of State Road 52 in Pasco County, Florida. Two people were killed, and three others sustained minor injuries in the accident.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, the sedan driver was approaching the intersection and moved left in front of the first SUV, eventually hitting the side of the SUV. The impact caused the first SUV to collide with the second SUV.
The sedan came to a stop on the shoulder of the road. The sedan driver, a 62-year-old woman from Hudson, and her passenger (identity not known) died at the scene.
The occupants of the two SUVs sustained minor injuries.
