A double-vehicle crash, involving an SUV and a Road Ranger assistance truck, occurred on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 on Interstate-75, Florida. Two people sustained minor injuries in the accident.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the SUV, driven by a 65-year-old man from North Fort Myers, was moving southbound on I-75 in the center lane. The Road Ranger vehicle, equipped with flashing lights and an arrow board, was stopped on the highway outside a southbound lane for a different emergency situation.
At the time of the crash, the driver of the SUV changed to the outside lane from the center lane, which caused the front right of the SUV to hit the rear left of the Road Ranger truck.
The SUV driver and the Road Ranger driver, a 57-year-old man from Lehigh Acres, sustained minor injuries due to the collision. The crash is under investigation by FHP.
If any nearby person or vehicle were injured/damaged as a result of the driver’s negligence, there would likely be a valid personal injury claim.
