A read-end accident, involving a Scion xB car and a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, occurred in the southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike in Orange County Florida, near John Young Parkway at around 9:55 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. A 19-year-old Orlando women, who was driving the car, died in the accident. The SUV driver, a 41-year-old St. Cloud man, did not sustain any injuries.
At the time of the incident, the SUV driver failed to slow down for unknown reasons and eventually crashed into the rear of the car, which further hit a barrier wall. The women was wearing a seat belt when the accident occurred and she was declared dead at the scene. According to Florida Highway Patrol, charges are pending against the SUV driver.
If any nearby person or vehicle were injured/damaged as a result of the driver’s negligence, there would likely be a valid personal injury claim.
