A multiple vehicle crash occurred just before 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in the northbound lanes on the Turnpike, just south of Griffin Road in Florida. A 23-year-old woman died in the accident.
Troopers said that at the time of the accident, all vehicles were traveling toward the north direction when the woman lost control of her SUV and hit a pickup truck, which caused her vehicle to start overturning and she was ejected from the SUV.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the SUV came to a stop on its roof and the victim’s body was found on the inside paved lane. The driver of the third vehicle involved in the accident, a 64-year-old man from Hollywood, failed to stop his automobile in time and collided with the victim’s SUV, which further hit the woman.
The woman succumbed to her injuries and was declared dead at the accident scene. All northbound lanes were closed at the time of the crash, but were reopened after the accident
